Exon Integration

A Quick and Easy Guide

Integrating our solution into your existing system is designed to be simple and efficient. Follow these steps to get started:

Account Setup:

Begin by visiting the Exon platform website and signing up for an account. If you already have one, log in using your credentials. Set up a new project or select an existing one from the dashboard. Provide project-specific details like name, description, and the CMS/SaaS systems you intend to integrate.

  • Add team members who will be involved in managing the integration

  • Assign roles such as admin, editor, or viewer.

Select the CMS Platform:

Identify the Content Management System (CMS) you’re integrating (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or a custom-built CMS). Exon provides integration plugins or libraries for popular CMS platforms. Download and install the Exon plugin from the CMS marketplace or Exon’s resources page.

  • For custom CMS platforms, generate API credentials in Exon

  • Configure them in your CMS backend to enable communication between the two systems.

Testing:

Before going live, perform test integrations to ensure data flows as expected between CMS and SaaS. For example: Publish test content in CMS and verify its presence in the SaaS tool. Test user interactions on SaaS platforms and validate the updates in CMS. Use Exon’s diagnostic tools to identify and fix any errors, such as missing fields, authentication failures, or incorrect mappings.
